Ingredients: Acid. sulph. 6x, Cimicifuga rac. 4x, Sanguinaria can. 4x, Sepia 20x.
Indications: Helps relieve flushes of heat, vaginal itching, physical weakness, psychic exhaustion, headaches, and irregular menstruation associated with menopause.
Mode of Action:
Acidum sulph.: Hot flushes followed by perspiration with trembling during menopause. Tremor and weakness, everything must be done in a hurry. Menstruation early and profuse.
Cimicifuga rac.: Menses profuse, dark, coagulated, or scanty with backache, nervousness, and irregularity. Pain across the pelvis from hip to hip. Restlessness and great depression.
Sanguinaria can.: Marked vaso-motor disturbances, including circumscribed redness of the cheeks, flushes of heat, blood flowing to the head and chest, distention of temporal veins, and burning in palms and soles. Useful in climacteric disorders.
Sepia: Hot flushes at menopause with weakness and perspiration. Symptoms show an upward tendency. Indifference to those loved best, aversion to occupation and family. Irritable and easily offended.
Dosage Advice:
Take 10-15 drops diluted in water, 3-6 times a day.
After improvement starts, reduce dosage to 3 times daily.
This remedy does not contain hormones typically advised during menopause but can be taken safely as adjunct treatment. Hormonal treatments may not be required often.
Complementary Remedies:
Metritis, Peri-Parametritis, Ovaritis: Alternate B7 and B6, every 2-3 hours.
Important Notes: Menopause is the natural end to menstruation and a gradual process. The ovaries begin producing lower amounts of estrogen and other steroid hormones. Fluctuating levels of estrogen and progesterone can cause various symptoms, which can vary in severity. Symptoms include irregular periods, weakness, hot flushes, etc.
