Ingredients: Chimaphila umb. 3x, Clematis erecta 3x, Conium mac. 6x, Pareira bra. 2x, Thuja occ. 3x, Pulsatilla nig. 3x, Sabal serr. 2x.
Indications: Helps relieve symptoms associated with acute and chronic prostatitis, such as difficulty beginning a urine stream, urinary retention, and symptoms of erectile dysfunction.
Mode of Action:
Chimaphila umb.: Loss of prostatic fluid, prostatic enlargement, irritation. Acute prostatitis with retention and a feeling of a ball in the perineum. Difficulty urinating without standing with feet wide apart and body inclined forward. Must strain before flow starts.
Clematis erecta: Frequent, scanty urination; burning at the orifice. Interrupted flow and constriction of the urethra. Urine emitted drop by drop, with dribbling after urination.
Conium mac.: Difficulty in voiding urine; the flow starts and stops again. Interrupted discharge and dribbling in older men.
Pareira bra.: Prostatic affections with constant urging, great straining, and pain down the thighs while trying to urinate. Violent pain in the glans penis, itching along the urethra. Urethritis with prostatic trouble. Sensation of bladder distention and neuralgic pain in the anterior crural region. Dribbling after micturition.
Thuja occ.: Pain and burning near the neck of the bladder with frequent and urgent desire to urinate. Prostatic enlargement.
Pulsatilla nig.: Urine passed only in drops, with an interrupted stream. Acute prostatitis with pain and tenesmus during urination, worse when lying on the back.
Sabal serr.: Prostatic enlargement and urinary difficulties. Acts on the membrano-prostatic portion of the urethra. Iritis with prostatic trouble, enlargement, and discharge of prostatic fluid.
Dosage Advice:
Take 10-15 drops diluted in water, 3 times a day.
Complementary Remedies:
In acute prostatitis: Additionally use B6.
In cystitis-pyelitis: Compare with B35. It may also be given in addition to B13 if symptoms agree.
