Ingredients: Cimicifuga rac. 3x, Gelsemium semp. 3x, Iris ver. 2x, Sanguinaria can. 3x, Spigelia 12x.
Indications: Helps relieve migraine, nervous headaches, and alleviates indisposition to continuous headaches.
Mode of Action:
Cimicifuga rac.: Shooting and throbbing pains in the head after mental worry, over-study, or reflex from uterine disease. Waving or opening and shutting sensation in the brain.
Gelsemium semp.: Heaviness of head; band-feeling around head and occipital headache. Heaviness of eyelids; bruised sensation; better with compression and lying with head elevated. Headache accompanied by muscular soreness of neck and shoulders. Headache preceded by blindness; better with profuse urination.
Iris ver.: Periodic migraine with intense headache, occasionally causing temporary blindness. Bitter vomiting at the climax of the headache.
Sanguinaria can.: Headache worse on the right side (sun headache). Periodical sick headache that improves with lying down and sleep. Headaches return during climacteric, often every seventh day. Burning sensation in the eyes. Pain in the back of the head like a flash of lightning.
Spigelia: Pain beneath the frontal eminence and temples, extending to the eyes, semi-lateral, usually involving the left eye. Violent throbbing pain, as if a band is around the head. Pain worsens with making a false step.
Dosage Advice:
Acute cases: Take 10-15 drops diluted in water, 2 hourly, 6 times a day.
Chronic cases: Take 10-15 drops diluted in water, 2 times a day.
Complementary Remedies:
In Influenza: Additionally use B1.
In inflammation of the nerves of the head and sinuses: Take B6 or B22, 10-15 drops in some water, 3-6 times daily.
In Arteriosclerosis and hypertension: See B8.
