Ingredients:
Arsenicum album 6x, Colocynthis 3x, Ranunculus bulbosus 3x.
Indications:
Helps relieve intercostal neuralgia and post-herpetic neuralgia (nerve pain following shingles).
Mode of Action:
Arsenicum album: Relieves burning pains that are relieved by heat, often associated with periodical burning pains. These pains are usually accompanied by restlessness and cold skin. It can also address paralysis, trembling, jerking, convulsions, and chorea (twitchings), as well as epilepsy.
Colocynthis: Known for its relief of intense neuralgias, particularly those that are cutting, pinching, clamping, gnawing, or boring, often with numbness after the pain subsides. The pain is relieved by pressure.
Ranunculus bulbosus: Effective for soreness and pain in the sternum, ribs, and intercostal spaces. It relieves burning and intense itching (such as with herpetic eruptions and shingles). It also helps with bluish vesicles and herpetic outbreaks.
Dosage:
Take 10-15 drops diluted in water.
Take every 30 minutes to 3 hours, depending on the acuteness of the pain.
Complementary Remedies:
For osteoarthritis of the thoracic vertebrae as the cause of intercostal neuralgia, use B11 additionally.
In cases of degenerative disc lesions and osteochondritis, consider B11 and Bakson Calci Aid Tablets for support.
For sciatica, compare with B69.
If there is a history of herpes zoster or current shingles, add B67 in alternation every ? to 1-2 hours.
For trigeminal or facial neuralgia, use B68 additionally.
For topical relief, consider Bakson Hypericum or Rhus tox. ointment.
