Key Ingredients & Their Actions:
Magnesium phos. (8x) ? Pain Relieved by Warmth:
Magnesium phos is one of the most common homeopathic remedies for neuralgic pains. It?s often recommended for sharp, cramp-like pains that are worse in cold air or from exposure to cold water, such as pain in the ear or behind the ear. It is notably effective when the pain is relieved by warmth.
Colocynthis (3x) ? Pain Relieved by Pressure:
Colocynthis is known for treating intense neuralgias, particularly those that are relieved by pressure. It?s used for facial neuralgia (pain in the face) and muscle contractions like those seen in the deltoid, hip, or abdomen. Pain is often cramp-like and can also be seen in the right side of the body.
Kalmia lat. (3x) ? Shooting Pains and Numbness:
Kalmia lat is indicated for neuralgia with shooting pains that often radiate downwards. The pain can cause numbness and is common in conditions like locomotor ataxia. It is also beneficial for facial neuralgia, especially when pain is felt on the right side of the face.
Verbascum thap. (2x) ? Facial Neuralgia and Cramp-like Pain:
Verbascum thap is most effective for facial neuralgia, particularly when it affects the zygomatic area, temporo-maxillary joint, and ear. The pain is often sharp, and the affected areas can feel as though they are being crushed with tongs. The remedy also helps with cramp-like pains in the soles of the feet, right knee, and thumb.
